If you have ongoing dental issues, such as gum disease, we may recommend more frequent visits. During these hygiene visits, we’ll remove decay-causing bacteria and tartar and check for any potential problems that need to be treated.

We also recommend that you visit Dr. Sheehan if you experience any pain in your teeth or mouth, swollen or sensitive gums, or bleeding. These symptoms could signal a dental issue that needs to be treated sooner so the symptoms don’t progress into a larger problem.
